
P.S. This also pairs well with my Easy Vegan Caramel Sauce!

- 1 cup water
- 1 1/3 cup cane sugar/ turbinado
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
In a small saucepot, combine the sugar and water and heat on medium heat until it boils. Whisk in cocoa powder and salt and allow to boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla.
Allow to cool. Store in a mason jar or another glass container for maximum freshness.
