3 cups water
12 oz mirepoix mix (or 1/2 cup each onions, carrots and celery, diced)
1 clove or 1 tsp minced garlic
1 not-chick'n bouillon cube
2 tsp vegetable base
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp onion salt
1 tsp kosher salt
2 tsp olive oil or vegan butter, optional
Combine all the above listed ingredients into your rice cooker. Set the cooker according to the manufacturer's directions, cooking as if your cooker contains regular rice. Serve as desired: aside some vegan meat, on its own, topped with vegan butter, etc. Salt and pepper as desired.
Now wasn't that so very easy? And isn't it so very effin' delicious?
